Visit the ‘Your Kin’ Tab
After opening the Kin app, hit the hamburger button in the top left to access the ‘Your Kin’ tab. From here, you have access to all of Kin’s customization features.

Explore the Voice Options
Select the “Kin’s Voice” option to see the 6 distinct voices Kin offers, ranging from warm and comforting to bright and energetic.
Whether you need a gentle supporter during challenging times or an enthusiastic motivator for reaching goals, there will be a voice for you.
💡 When you switch voices, Kin will play a snippet to let you hear the voice you selected.
Explore the Tone of Voice Settings
Under the “Kin’s Tone of Voice” heading at the top of the “My Kin” tab is an input field.
This is Kin’s dedicated tone control section, which lets you fine-tune how Kin responds to you by describing the exact behavior you’d like
Need motivation? Ask for energy. Want practical advice? Specify direct responses. Looking for emotional support? Tell Kin to use a more empathetic tone.
💡 You can even ask Kin to remember your preferred settings for different situations, so you can easily dial back in what works for you.
